The City of Janesville Street Rehab 2024 project began in April 2024 and is projected to be completed by October 2024. This project encompasses the complete reconstruction of 20 city streets, as well as the milling and paving of an additional 30 city streets.

The scope of work for this project includes common excavation, asphalt paving, milling, pulverizing, pavement markings, and terrace restoration.

The project quantities include 31,800 tons of asphalt, 122,000 square yards of milling, 36,400 cubic yards of common excavation, 54,000 tons of coarse gradation aggregate, 24,400 tons of fine gradation aggregate, and 54,900 square yards of pavement removal.

The project presents several challenges, such as maintaining access to businesses and conducting night work for two of the reconstructions.
