Community Involvement | Rock Road CompaniesTM

At Rock Road Companies, we grow communities from the ground up. For over 100 years we’ve been trusted to create the infrastructures that makes neighborhoods, businesses, and transportation possible. Our involvement in the local community has been an integral part of our success, so Rock Road is honored to give back to our community through the Kennedy Family Foundation.

Bill, Bob and Steve Kennedy established the Kennedy Family Foundation in 2013, to honor of Rock Road’s 100 year anniversary. The foundation was developed to honor the memory of their grandparents, William and Elizabeth Kennedy, along with their parents, Robert and Delores Kennedy.

This foundation supports non-for-profit charitable organizations in Rock County and its surrounding areas. The Kennedy Family Foundation focuses on religious, scientific and educational programs that contribute to the betterment of our society and local community. Over 100 different programs benefit each year from the Kennedy Family Foundation, including: Agrace Hospice Care, Boys & Girls Club, Echo, Inc., Gifts Men’s Shelter, Health Net of Rock Co., Janesville Farmers Market, Janesville Performing Arts Center, Rock County Youth Sports Programs, The Salvation Army, YMCA, and many other amazing organizations.

Together Rock Road and the Kennedy Family Foundation have donated millions of dollars to local charities. These donations would not have been possible without the continued support of the Annual Rock Road Charity Golf Classic, where 100% of all proceeds are given to local charities. Each year the Kennedy Family Foundation looks forward to sharing a sense of community and the gift of giving back with Rock Road’s business partners and friends.
