The I-43 project milled and overlaid approximately 5.5 miles of eastbound and westbound lanes from Clinton to Darien. Three 1,000 Linear Feet sections of eastbound and westbound lanes on I-43 were completely reconstructed at the STH-14, Carver's Rock, and Summerville Bridges.

While this is becoming rare in our industry, traffic was shifted completely to one side on this project. I-43 used temporary crossovers, so we worked on the "dead" side, rather than having to flag the entire project.

Batterman was the project team and Kevin Saxe was the Project Leader. As usual, we really enjoyed working with Batterman on this project.

The Rock Road Project Managers were Mike Jacobs and Blake McCann. Our Foremen for this project were Joe Kirby, Ben Sellnow, TonyHeck, Luke Davis and Jacob Webb.
